Before the end of the Autumn term the children at Beaudesert were treated to a very special piano quartet, performed by four of the School’s music teachers. Director of Music Mrs Rebecca Saunders joined piano teacher Mr Louis Mander, violin and viola teacher Mrs Wendy Clark and cello and double bass teacher Ms Imogen Seth-Smith to perform four pieces for the children;  ‘Zapateado, Idyll & Scherzetto’ (2019) composed by Louis Mander, ‘Piano Quartet No.1 in G minor’ (1785) by Mozart, ‘Festive Overture’ also arranged by Mr Louis Mander and ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.

The performance was repeated throughout the day to allow different year group bubbles to enjoy the concert. It was wonderful hear live music again in our Performing Arts Centre for the first time in what feels like a long time.
