Design and Technology Technician

Required from early June

We have a fabulous opportunity for a skilled technician to join us from June 3rd, working one day per week in our Design and Technology department.

The position is to cover a period of Maternity Leave but may become permanent. The actual day worked is open to negotiation.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for:

• Ordering and preparation of materials and equipment

• Maintenance and routine testing of equipment

• Technical advice and guidance

• Departmental administrative tasks

Applicants are required to have experience in a DT Technician role or have a background in engineering (or similar) with transferrable skills. Good health and safety and COSHH knowledge is essential along with excellent technical ability and strong organisational skills.

Music Teacher - Brass Instruments

Required from September

We are seeking an inspirational musician and teacher to teach Brass Instruments to our pupils from September 2024.

Beaudesert's music department has a strong tradition of excellent instrumental performance, with a wide range of ensembles, including a Junior and Senior Brass Ensemble. Applicants will ideally be able to work Mondays and/or Wednesday mornings.

Situated in a 'state of the art', dedicated Performing Arts Centre, the department has a lively weekly schedule and supportive team atmosphere with 17 visiting teachers.
