We are very sad to hear the news that Jo Keyte, wife of former Headmaster John Keyte, passed away over the weekend.

Jo started her days at Beaudesert as Miss Eardley, before she married John in 1970 as he took up the mantle of Headmaster. Jo specialised in Art, English, Drama and the Humanities, and was known for her sympathetic ear for pupils, staff and parents. She seamlessly fitted the role of Headmaster’s wife, helping to shape and nurture the growing school community. Jo has always remained close to the School and her passing is met with great sadness from all at Beaudesert.

The family of John and Jo Keyte have provided a new email address as a point of connection for anyone; friends, relations, OBs, former staff or anyone in the Beaudesert community who may wish to get in touch. This is an attempt by us to improve on John and Jo’s slightly ageing address book!
