We are sad to announce that former staff member Cynthia Stevens, wife of Michael Stevens, sadly died on Friday, 13th October. Cynthia taught at Beaudesert for thirty years, joining the staff from South Africa in 1970. She undertook a huge number of roles in her time here, including running the tennis club for many years, and taking countless children under her wing as a Houseparent at Garden Cottage. Michael and Cynthia hosted their wedding reception at Beaudesert Park, and celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary here last summer.

Her funeral will take place at 12noon on Thursday, 26th October at Woodchester Priory Church, St Mary’s Hill, Inchbrook, Nr Stroud GL5 5HP.
