The children in Year 5 were enthralled by their recent visit from Jonathan’s Jungle and his wonderful array of exotic creatures. The children discovered tonnes of interesting facts about vertebrates and invertebrates and how they adapt to their environments – all of which will help bring to life their animal kingdom studies. Amongst others they met and held Homer the woma python and Margaret the giant Asian praying mantis, and were blown away by the beauty of Yoda the geko and Spinderella the Peruvian pinktoe tarantula.
