Equestrian Sports

Beaudesert Park is very fortunate to have its own riding teams and any child with their own pony can join the teams which are co-ordinated by the school’s equestrian team manager.  Children compete in polo, dressage, show jumping, jumping with style, cross-country, and one day events at all levels.

The school is registered with the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) and regularly takes part in qualifier competitions, with Beaudesert having qualified for the National Championships for the last 3 years. Within the teams children train individually with occasional team training organised for the bigger events. During the Summer Term the school also holds its own Show Jumping and Dressage competition, this year being held at Rectory Farm, which is open to pupils from Years 3-8 and caters for all levels and abilities.

Our school Polo Team is also incredibly successful.

Pupils who don’t have their own pony can enjoy Riding as an activity on a Thursday at Barton End Equestrian Centre, where they can learn to ride or improve their skills on school horses.
