Rugby is the major sport in the Autumn term. The children are introduced to the game through tag in Year 3 before progressing to full contact by Year 4. The school follows the rugby continuum as prescribed by the RFU. All children are provided with the opportunity to take part in inter-school fixtures.
Football is the main focus at the start of the Spring term and follows the FA guidelines for progression. After half term the boys go on to play hockey as preparation for senior school life.
In the Summer term cricket is played by all boys through a variety of mediums from pairs through to full matches. The school regularly fields 14 cricket teams and benefits from an all-weather net area and indoor facilities.
