Local town Stroud has been named the best place to live in the UK by The Sunday Times in their annual guide.
The town was praised for its independent spirit, green spaces and excellent schools.
Stroud was also praised for its excellent transport links. Trains to London Paddington take just under 90 minutes, and local cities like Cheltenham, Bath and Bristol are also within striking distance.
Beaudesert Park School sits just ten minutes from Stroud, adjacent to Minchinhampton Common. The Common is a 450 acre National Trust protected Site of Special Scientific Interest home to free roaming cows and ponies in the summer.
Helen Davies, property editor of The Times and Sunday Times, said: “Our focus for this year has been community, countryside and convenience.”
Stroud is surrounded by idyllic country villages, typified by their iconic honey-coloured ‘Cotswold stone’ properties, and picturesque rolling hills. Nearby Rodborough and Minchinhampton were recognised in the guide as the most sought-after locations.
At Beaudesert we offer school bus transport from local towns like Kemble, Cirencester, Great Somerford, South Cerney, Malmesbury, Tetbury, Grittleton, Westonbirt, Painswick and Bisley. We also offer weekly and flexi-boarding from Year 4 for many parents who travel during the working week.
