Beaudesert Park School has resumed its remote learning programme as schools have closed across the UK due to new national restrictions.

Our ambitious remote learning curriculum allows children of all ages to engage in a combination of live lessons, online tasks, video lessons and creative resources from home. We have expanded our provisions this term so we can continue to provide individual Music and LAMDA lessons, as well as increasing live lesson time considerably to support children further in their learning.

Beaudesert Park uses a combination of digital platforms for lessons, delivered through a remote learning platform called Firefly. Firefly is used as a central point for children to access their timetable, tasks and extra resources and it also allows the children to access meetings on Microsoft Teams and Zoom for the children’s live lessons.

Parents also have access to the portal, where they can view their children’s tasks and timetables, view letters from the School, respond to permission forms and even more.

Our remote learning provisions were received very well by parents and children alike during the Lockdown in 2020 and our staff are stepping up to the challenge of remote learning this term as well.
