The school says a sad goodbye to our Headmaster James Womersley and his wife Fiona as they retire from school life and set sail on new adventures.  For 21 years they have helped countless children, their parents and school staff enjoy a hugely enjoyable and rewarding prep school experience.  During their time they have effected countless positive changes at Beaudesert while staying true to its original ethos of being a place of happiness for children, and a place where children receive a truly all round education which imbues them with the confidence, life skills and love of learning that will help them thrive throughout their lives.

Now it’s time to hand on the baton, and Beaudesert starts the 2018 academic year with a new Headmaster as Chris Searson comes to Beaudesert with his wife Harriet and two young children.  Chris is currently Deputy Headmaster at Highfield School in Liphook, Hampshire and previously Head of English and Boarding Houseparent at the same school.  Highfield is a very similar school to Beaudesert in terms of size, co-education, boarding and day and having a flourishing Pre-prep.
