As was announced way back in 2017, after 21 happy and productive years in the post, Headmaster James Womersley is retiring this summer.   To add extra interest to his last few months, the School Council have come up with a challenge in the form of a list entitled;   ’50 things a Headmaster should do before retiring’.  The list boasts a wide range of suggestions, including ‘learn to knit in the extra-curricular knitting club’, ‘have a go on the swings in the wooden adventure playground’, and ‘trade Match Attax cards’.   Always one to embrace a challenge, Mr Womersley has already ticked off a number of items including knitting, African drumming, taking an e-Safety session, producing a self-portrait in an art lesson and sitting on the floor for story time in Pre-prep!
